James GILLIAM, 100 acres, Buckingham
John Page, Esquire Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, to all to whom those presents shall come greeting know ye, that by virtue of a Land Office Treasury Warrant, Number 3048, issued the twentieth day of December 1800, there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto James GILLIAM a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres by survey bearing date the fifteenth of October, eighteen hundred and one, lying and being in the County of Buckingham and bounded as followeth “to wit”
Beginning at a pine in John Webb’s line thence off a new line north thirty-eight degrees east one hundred and twenty pls. to pointers in John Millar’s line thence along the same south eighty-eight degrees west, fifty poles to pointers north thirty degrees west, one hundred and forty-six poles to pointers in Taylor’s and Harrison’s line thence along the same south fifty degrees west one hundred and forty-six poles to pointers south thirty-three degrees west nine poles to a post. Oak south forty-nine degrees east fifty-six poles to a schrub oak on John Webb’s and on his line north sixty-eight degrees east, seventy poles to pointers south thirty-six degrees east, one hundred and seven poles to the beginning, with, its appurtenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said James GILLIAM and heirs forever, In witness whereof the said John Page, Esquire, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia hath hereunto set his hand and cause the lesser seal of the said commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond, on the twenty seventh day of July in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight, hundred and three, and the commonwealth the twenty-eighth.

John Page, Esquire, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia: To all to whom these presents shall come greeting: Know Ye, that by virtue of a Land Office Treasury Warrant number 3048 issued the twentieth of December eighteen hundred there is granted by the said commonwealth unto James GILLIAM, a certain tract or parcel of land containing one hundred acres by survey bearing date the twenty second day of December eighteen hundred and two lying and being in the county of Buckingham, and bounded as followeth to wit:
beginning at pointers a corner between Thomas McCormick and Alexander Faubush, then along said Faubush’s line, north twenty-six degrees, west on hundred and, eighty poles to a post oak sapling, north ten degrees, east thirty-four poles to a dead pine and pointers off a new line, north fifty degrees, east forty eight poles to pointers in John Webb’s line, thence along the same, south thirty degrees, east sixty eight poles to pointers, north eight-seven degrees, east forty six poles to a fallen down pine in Wooldridge’s line, thence along the same south forty-three degrees, west seventeen poles to a pine south seventeen degrees, east one hundred and nine poles to a post oak, south three degrees west fourteen poles to pointers in the aforesaid Thomas McCormick’s line, then along the same south sixty-two degrees west seventy poles to the beginning with its appurtenances, to have and to hole the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances, to the said James GILLIAM, and his heirs forever. In witness whereof the said John Page, Esquire, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia hath hereunto set his hand and caused the lesser seal of the said commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond on the twenty-third day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and four and of the commonwealth the twenty-ninth.
